LILAVATI HOSPITAL & RESEARCH CENTRE is located in the west of Bandra at Mumbai. The hospital is located in the heart of Mumbai state and is very close to the domestic and the international airport and can be easily accessed by patients. The hospital was established in 1997 with 10 beds and had only 22 doctors initially. Today, it is moderated into 323 beds multi-speciality hospital with one of the largest Intensive Care Units (ICUs), advanced 12 Operation Theatres for surgeries, more than 300 consultants and specialists with manpower of nearly 1,800. Nearly more than 300 to 400 patients visit this hospital daily. Well trained technicians and doctors are available during all emergency condition at any time. Canteens and all the shops in this hospital are providing healthy foods to their patients. In 1978 Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre is run and managed by Public Charitable Trust named as Lilavati Kirtilal Mehta Medical Trust to provide free treatment for poor people. Services offered by this hospital are 24X7 ambulance services, daycare, dialysis centre, in and outpatient services, diabetic care, blood banks, laboratory for investigations, high imaging radiology department, physiotherapy, critical care unit and emergency services.
